On April 19th, police in Milford say they responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the Connecticut Post Mall located on Boston Post Road. The investigation of the incident soon led to an arrest and DUI charges.
About the Investigation
During the investigation, police requested a breath sample from a 34-year-old West Haven man. The toxicology sample indicated the driver had an elevated Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) at the time of the collision.
Authorities subsequently arrested the man on suspicion of driving his vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The man was later arraigned on DUI charges and given a May court date.
